DQ Fundraiser Exceeds Goal For Riley Kids
Winona Lake Dairy Queen owner Jerry Nolin committed to sitting on the roof of his business last Wednesday and Thursday until he raised $10,000 for the Kosciusko County Riley Kids Fund at the Kosciusko County Community Foundation.
This week, Nolin’s wife, Jane, delivered a check from the fundraiser totaling $10,100 to the Community Foundation.
“Many thanks to Jerry and Jane Nolin and all their customers who contributed to the KC Riley Kids Fund,” said Community Foundation Executive Director Suzie Light. “Many children from Kosciusko County benefit from medical treatment at Riley Children’s Hospital every year, and I know their families appreciate the help they receive from this fund.”
The KC Riley Kids Fund provides both direct support to Riley Children’s Hospital and financial assistance through gas and food cards to Kosciusko County families served by Riley.
