With Pierceton Fire Department out on a medical call, firefighters of the Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory responded to a vehicle fire at CRs 350 South and 450 East just before 3 p.m. today.

Kyle Miller was driving the RV when, he tells our reporter, the vehicle died at the intersection of the two county roads. Miller was able to restart the RV, but noticed smoke and smelled what he says were burning wires. He pulled the RV to the side of the road to attempt to detach the battery, but it was too late.

Miller was not hurt in the fire, but the vehicle is a total loss.
