Village People At FireKeepers On Halloween
BATTLE CREEK, MICH. – FireKeepers Casino Hotel owned and operated by the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi, proudly announces that Village People will be featured as part of a Halloween event at FireKeepers Casino Hotel Event Center on Friday, Oct. 31, 2014.
After forming in 1977, Village People went on to become almost synonymous with dance music and disco. Known for their energetic choreography and upbeat musical numbers, Village People rose to legendary status with such classic hits as “In the Navy”, “Macho Man”, and of course “Y.M.C.A.”. The group has received much critical acclaim, and has appeared on multiple shows including Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rocking Eve, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and The Bob Hope Special. Taking place in tandem with the performance will be a Halloween event where guests can participate in a Halloween Costume Contest where the winner will receive $5,000 cash.
Tickets will be on sale for guests 21 years of age and older starting at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9. Ticket prices for the performance of Village People and the Halloween event will be $25.
