WCS Staff Members Attend Illinois Conference
A total 150 WCS staff attended Professional Learning Communities at Work™ in Lincolnshire, Ill. The PLC process is increasingly recognized as the most powerful strategy for sustained, substantive school improvement. During this institute, educators are exposed to the knowledge and tools needed to implement this powerful process in their school communities and to network with some of the most insightful minds in education.
WCS staff will be asked to delve deep into the three big ideas of a PLC — focus on learning, build a collaborative culture, and results orientation. This is the third group of educators to be trained in the PLC process with a total of 435 staff already trained in this collaborative process.
Warsaw Community Schools is committed to their mission statement “to inspire and equip all students to continuously acquire and apply knowledge and skills while pursuing their dreams and enriching the lives of others”.
