Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department
Officers of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department recently investigated the following accident:
Monday, Aug. 4, 7:48 p.m. North 300 West and West 400 North, Warsaw. Driver: Tony D. Baker, 48, East Pierceton Road, Warsaw. A deer ran into the side of Baker’s truck. Damages: up to $2,500
North Webster Police Department
Officers of the North Webster Police Department recently investigated the following accident:
Tuesday, Aug. 5, 7:29 a.m. SR 13 and East South St., North Webster. Drivers: Timothy A. Huffman, 45, Lexington Avenue, Fort Wayne; and Alexander M. Harrison, 30, Old State Road D, Middlefield, Ohio. Huffman was northbound on SR 13 and failed to see Harrison’s vehicle slowing or stopping in front of him and collided with the back of the vehicle. Timothy Cook, a passenger in Harrison’s vehicle, complained of neck pain but refused medical treatment. Damages: up to $5,000
Winona Lake Police Department
Officers of the Winona Lake Police Department recently investigated the following accident:
Tuesday, Aug. 5, 6:39 a.m. Wooster Road and South 250 East. Drivers: Dustin S. Jansma, 23, North 450 East, Leesburg; and Robert E. Bates, 59, East Lynnwood Drive, Warsaw. Jansma said he was unable to stop in time and collided with the rear of Bates’ vehicle, which was stopped at a stop sign. Damages: up to $5,000
