LifeTouch Ministries Raising Funds For Guatemala
LifeTouch Ministries and Counseling Center is working to raise funds to help families in Guatemala. Every minute of every day, a child in Guatemala City is pilfering through the garbage in the dump to help his or her parents make a living. This squalor is the reality for over 10,000 people who live and work in and near the Guatemala City dump.
LifeTouch is working with an organization called Potters House and will be sending a team of workers to Guatemala City in October to council and teach people living near the dump how to create new lives for themselves and their children.
LifeTouch Ministries and Counseling Center offers individual, family, marriage and trauma counseling that combines both a Biblical and a clinical base in Kosciusko county. It is also contracted by the state of Indiana to offer teaching to masters level counselors for their credentialing.
LifeTouch has first ministered to its own community, but Guatemala is one of the countries that it has had a relationship with for the last 10 years. Anyone who would like to make a tax deductible gift toward the mission in Guatemala may mail it to: 2426 E. Pierceton Rd., Winona Lake, IN 46590.
