Friday Brings 34th Annual Big Wheel Races
Warsaw Parks and Recreation, Warsaw Breakfast Optimist Club and Penguin Point are hosting the 34th annual Big Wheel Race in Warsaw this Friday night.
On Aug. 1, registration will begin at 5:45 p.m. and conclude at 6:45 p.m. with the race beginning at 7 p.m. at Center Lake Park during the Family Carnival.
Entry forms are available at Warsaw and Syracuse Penguin Point locations and the Warsaw Parks Department Office.
Prizes will be offered in two divisions, including Division I for children ages 4 and 5 years old, and Division II for children ages 6 and 7 years old. All children must be accompanied by an adult to participate.
First place in each division will receive a new bicycle and a trophy. Second-place and third-place winners will get a trophy and gift certificate.
Big Wheels are provided for the races. Entry forms must be filled out completely before race.
The first 100 entries will receive a free T-shirt.
