4-H Livestock Auction Proves To Be Another Record Setting Year
The results are in for the Kosciusko County 4-H Livestock Auction, which was held Friday. The sale total was $433,216.69 with an additional $5,330 from the buyers support group for a grand total of $438,547.29.
This year’s sale had 16 more lots than last year, and saw an increase of $53,506.85 from the 2013 sale.
Beef had 33 entries which sold for $113,810.85
Dairy had six entries which sold for a total of $6,535
Dairy Calf Feeder Steer had 43 entries which sold for $63,000
Dairy Steer had seven entries which sold for $21,599.50
Goats had 55 entries which sold for $23,015
King Kiss had one bidder which paid $535
Pork Loins had five entries which sold for $1,575
Poultry had 211 entries which sold for $59,435
Queen Kiss had one bidder for $1,100
Rabbits had 46 entries which sold for $11,920
Ribeyes had 15 entries which sold for $5,125
Sheep had 20 entries which sold for $19,124.45
Swine had 115 entries which sold for $111,772.49
Total lots sold at the fair this year was 558.
