Racquets For Riley Set For July 19
WARSAW – Camille Kerlin is doing her part to help a cause that is very dear to her heart.
Kerlin, a senior-to-be this fall at WCHS and a member of the girls tennis team, is sponsoring a “Racquets For Riley” tennis fundraiser July 19.
The event will raise funds for the Riley Hospital for Children and the Kosciusko County Riley Kids Fund.
Kerlin has had several heart surgeries at Riley Hospital in Indianapolis after being born with heart problems as a premature baby.
The Racquets For Riley event will begin at 8 a.m. at the WCHS tennis courts July 19 and is open to players of all ages and ability levels.
Cost for one hour of court time during the fundraiser is $50 for adult singles and $25 for adult doubles players. There will also be a youth court for those ages 12 and under that will cost $15 per hour of playing time. A total of 10 courts will be available for use.
Deadline to register for the event is Saturday. For more information or to register, either contact Kerlin at 267-2120 or go to www.racquetsforriley.com.
Persons who wish to donate to the event can also visit the website. There will also be a fundraiser July 19 from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. at Zoyo Neighborhood Yogurt on CR 300N in Warsaw. Twenty percent of the proceeds from sales that day will go to Racquets For Riley.
