Mentone High Class of 1959 Reunite
The Mentone High School class of 1959 met June 7 to celebrate their 55th reunion at Maple Leaf headquarters in Leesburg. In attendance were 22 classmates plus spouses, for a total of 35.
Terry Tucker gave the group a tour of the headquarters. Bob Haupert read a poem he had written for the class. Each classmate told about their past jobs and things of interest. Four classmates are deceased out of 35.
New class books were handed out, which had been compiled by Bonnie Hile and Terry Tucker. Terry and Sandra Tucker were hosts for the event. The Cake Lady from North Webster catered the lunch.
