DePuy Enters Into Development Agreement
According to ResearchViews.com, Tissue Regeneration Systems Inc. (TRS), a developer of bio-active implants, entered into an agreement with DePuy Synthes Products, LLC, a medical device company, and Johnson & Johnson Innovation Center, to develop resorbable implants for large bone segmental defect treatment in trauma and orthopaedic oncology.
Under the agreement, the partners will develop implants by using DePuy Synthes’ expertise and market leadership with TRS’s 3-D printing technologies and development expertise. The agreement also includes potential future development opportunities in a range of additional applications within DePuy Synthes’ areas of strategic interest.
This agreement enables the partners to develop new orthopaedic implants.
