Kosciusko Farmers Market Opens Wednesday
Kosciusko County Farmers Market is opening its mid-week night market tomorrow, June 4. The market will be open from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. each Wednesday in the city hall plaza on Center Street in downtown Warsaw.
The mid-week market will feature many of the same vendors who take part in the Saturday morning KCFM and sell their fresh produce and hand-made items. Saturday morning market times are 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The downtown farmers market is a group of growers from Kosciusko County and bordering counties. All produce and crafts are locally grown and locally made.
On Saturday, June 14, the farmers market will welcome the American Legion’s all-you-can-eat breakfast featuring eggs, hash browns, sausage and biscuits. The breakfast will be held in the plaza area and is just $7 per person.
On Saturday, June 21, the 3rd Annual Vicky’s Dog Parade will also be part of the farmers market. The parade will include prizes for the largest dog, smallest dog, owner look-a-like, best trick and more. Registration is $5 per dog and all proceeds will benefit the Animal Welfare League of Kosciusko County. Registration will begin at 10 a.m. that morning with judging and the parade to start at 11 a.m.
