Dennis W. Sutton, 61, of Claypool, Ind., passed away at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, Ind.
He was born July 15, 1952, in Fort Wayne, to Richard F. and Alice Rose (Shady) Sutton. His formative years were spent in South Whitley, Ind., and he graduated from South Whitley High School.
He was employed at Dayco, Wolf Cage & Supply for 19 years, Whitley Feeds in South Whitley for 11 years and lastly at Advanced Auto Parts. A member of Noble County Rabbit Fanciers where he served as president, he was also a member of Indiana Bass Masters.
He is survived by four brothers: Richard A. Sutton, Auburn, Ind.; Robert M. (Beth) Sutton, Boyden Iowa; Jeffrey L. (Becky) Sutton Sr., Larwill, Ind.; and Ralph David (Tanya) Linthicum, Corunna, Ind.; a brother-in-law: Joseph Adams, Warsaw, Ind.; and several nieces and nephews of three generations.
He was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather: Roscoe C. Linthicum; and a sister: Sherry Adams.
Visitation will be from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 31, at Smith & Sons Miller Chapel, South Whitley. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 31, at the funeral home. Burial will be in South Whitley Cemetery.
