A Syracuse man has died from injuries he sustained Wednesday evening during a motorcycle crash in near Syracuse.

The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department was notified this morning by the Allen County Coroner’s Office that Daniel List, 56, of Syracuse, passed away on May 24 as a result of head injuries that he had sustained in a May 21 accident in Kosciusko County.

List had been observed traveling southbound on SR 13 near the South Shore Golf Course when his 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle struck a trailer being pulled by a pickup truck that hadstopped for other vehicular traffic.

The crash was witnessed by a Syracuse/Turkey Creek Township EMS/ambulance crew who immediately administered aid. List was airlifted from the scene and taken to Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

The Kosciusko County F.A.C.T. Team said the crash is still currently under investigation.
