AKRON – The Tippecanoe Valley Middle School track teams have honored several of their athletes with awards for the 2014 season.
Earning Most Valuable Athlete honors for the season were Dakota Parker (8th grade boys), Cheyenne Oldfather (8th grade girls), Colt Demske (6th grade boys), Wes Melanson (7th grade boys), Taylor Gunter (6th grade girls) and Sarah Tucker (7th grade girls).
Also honored from the 8th grade boys team were Will Ruff (Outstanding Field Event), Jameson Baker (Most Improved) and Travis Shull (Mental Attitude).
The 8th grade girls team honored Caleigh Zolman (Outstanding Field Event), Melinda Kruger (Most Improved) and Helene Drake (Mental Attitude).
The 6th/7th grade boys team recognized Daulton Webb (Outstanding Field Event 6th grad), Dwight Conley (Outstanding Field Event 7th grade), Dakota Snapp (Most Improve) and Harrison Vinings (Mental Attitude).
Saluted from the 6th/7th grade girls team were Mayde Fear (Outstanding Field Event 6th grade), Payton Warner (Outstanding Field Event 7th grade), Lauren Sponseller (Most Improved) and Brianna McBrier (Mental Attitude).
