Raymond Dilley
Raymond Dilley, 82, of Syracuse, Ind., passed away at 6:49 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at Kosciusko Community Hospital of Warsaw, Ind.
Raymond was born on Nov. 17, 1931, to Raymond Dilley and Glenora (Ouley) Dilley. On Dec. 14, 1951, he was married to Shirley Ann (Shelton) Dilley, who survives in Syracuse.
He was a master carpenter and was a self-employed construction worker throughout the state of Indiana.
He is survived by three sons: Gary Dilley, Englewood, Fla.; Dean (Beth) Dilley, Lafayette, Ind.; Tim Dilley, Texas; three daughters: Arlene Bechtold (Robert) McMahan, Clarksville, Tenn.; Lynn Dilley, Ligonier, Ind.; Grace Bee, Lafayette, Ind.; 23 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter: Penny Leigh Griffin; two grandsons; and a granddaughter.
Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Rd., Warsaw. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 28, at the funeral home. Burial will follow with a graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw.
