How Low Will U.S. Chamber Stoop Politically?
Dear Editor,
I listened to a gentleman from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce on Fox News Sunday night talking about what he considers to be the “extremist” faction of the GOP. He stated that “they,” the Chamber, would be doing whatever it takes to make sure the “right” GOP leaders are elected into office. He mentioned specifically the race between Mitch McConnell and Matt Bevin who is the Tea Party favorite.
How far are they willing to go and how low will they stoop? What does he consider to be the “extreme” takeover of the GOP? Does he consider the Tea Party, Libertarians, or Constitutionalists as “extremists”?
Let’s look at some issues those who wish to control us stand for. The U.S. Chamber, a HUGE supporter of the Common Core push at the national level, joins the likes of Jeb Bush, Bill and Melinda Gates, Arne Duncan and President Obama.
Those trying to control us — the U.S. Chamber and other NGO’s — are the ones who are forcing us to buy light bulbs we don’t want, mandating the school lunch program, restraining our private property rights, pushing gun control, controlling our gas prices, denying the Keystone Pipeline, denying our veterans medical care, targeting conservative groups, pushing Smart Meters to control how much energy we use, and so on.
Next thing you know, they’ll be complaining because we eat too much meat so it will be a vegetarian diet for everyone. Perhaps that’s why we are now wasting money on studying cow flatulence … just saying.
I say, it’s time to wake up folks! I would encourage everyone to do their own research and put the pieces of the puzzle together. Educate yourselves as knowledge is power. How far are you willing to let them control you and your family?
