Warsaw Stopped By Northridge
MIDDLEBURY – The Northridge baseball team got a measure of revenge on Warsaw Friday.
The Raiders, who had lost a 2-1 decision to the Tigers last month, posted a 10-0 home win.
Andrew Kennedy fired a one-hitter for the Raiders in the Northern Lakes Conference win.
Kennedy and Grant Miller each homered for the hosts, who piled up 16 hits in the victory. Jake Bayliss had three hits for the winners.
Justin Oberlin had the lone hit for the Tigers, who drop to 9-11 overall and 6-5 in NLC action.
James Brandes took the pitching loss for Warsaw.
Warsaw plays at NLC foe NorthWood today at 11 a.m. in a league make up game.
Northridge edged past Warsaw 7-6 in junior varsity action Friday.
Marcello Rodriguez led Warsaw with three hits, including a home run. Josh Fitzgerald also had three hits for the JV Tigers. Braxton Tennant took the pitching loss for Warsaw.
The Warsaw JV team, now 11-10 overall and 5-6 in the NLC, plays a doubleheader at DeKalb today at 10 a.m.
