(UPDATE: Robert Houser Jr. passed away at 3:21 p.m. Tuesday, May 13.)
Described as a good friend, great father and loving husband, Robert Houser Jr. is being kept alive today in preparations of becoming an organ donor.
Earlier today, Indiana Conservation Officers released information that Houser had passed away. His family, however, says he is still in critical condition in Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne, being kept alive on life support.
Houser is just 26 years old. The life he lived ended Friday in a tragic work-related accident in Fort Wayne. (See related)
Houser’s family intends to remove the life support machines that are physically maintaining their beloved son, husband and father and honor his wishes to be an organ donor to save the lives of others.
We are told that a team of medical professionals from Indianapolis are involved in testing now to find suitable matches for the organs.
Houser graduated from Wawasee High School in Syracuse in 2007.
