Dorotha B. (Fowerbaugh) Miller
Dorotha B. (Fowerbaugh) Miller, 103, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 2:39 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at Kosciusko Community Hospital of Warsaw.
She was born on Oct. 12, 1910, in Huntington County, Ind., to Albert Fowerbaugh and Artesla (Hyatt) Fowerbaugh. On June 23, 1935, she was married to Donald L. Miller who preceded her in death.
She was a resident of Kosciusko County, Ind., since 1954, where she attended Trinity United Methodist Church and worked as a part time clerk for Readmore Book Store in Warsaw for 30 years. She was a member of the DAR Society and a 12th generation descendent of the Mayflower. Dorotha attended International Business College in Marion, Ind. She loved to read, braid rugs, quilt and was devoted to publishing family genealogy.
She is survived by her daughter: Colleen J. Sisk, Warsaw; son: Merrill (Carole) Miller, Pleasant Plain, Ohio; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; her son: Conrad L. Miller; two sisters; and one brother.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Rd., Warsaw. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 14, at the funeral home and officiated by Pastor David Hummel. Burial will follow with a graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery in Warsaw.
