Boyer Is Today’s ‘Molly Pitcher’
Dear Editor,
Much has been said recently of my friend, Monica Boyer. Some of the comments have been inexcusable. I have nothing but the highest respect for this woman, wife and mother who is tired of the direction our nation is taking.
During the Revolutionary War “Molly Pitcher” became famous as a symbol of women who gave care to those patriots fighting for liberty including taking water to them and helping to load the cannons as others fell. Monica is a “Molly Pitcher” in our day.
Her influence is not money or position. Her passion for this country is what sets her apart. She inspires those around her to believe that America is still a “government of the people, by the people and for the people.”
There are days when I have been down dealing with those hurting in Kosciusko County. I have been challenged for my stand on life, traditional marriage and religious liberty along with my friend, John B Lowe II. Many times I have received messages from Monica encouraging me that she is praying for us.
People do not understand her heart and desire for America to be that “shining city on a hill” that Ronald Reagan spoke about.
When the water of refreshment needs to be carried to exhausted patriots or the cannons of truth need to be loaded I know you will be there! Thank you, Monica!
God Bless America!
