Lambda Chi Omega Sorority Support KC Riley Kids Fund
Members of Warsaw’s Lambda Chi Omega Sorority, a philanthropic sorority, recently presented a donation of $500 to the Kosciusko County Riley Kids Fund, a component fund of the Kosciusko County Community Foundation.
Sorority President, Laura Greig, said the gift was prompted by the sorority’s desire to help local kids and families with expenses like gasoline and food during their trips to Riley Children’s Hospital.
The Kosciusko County Riley Kids Fund was founded by business partners Alan Alderfer and Mike Bergen, who both had children treated at Riley Children’s Hospital and realized the financial strain that many families experience when their children are faced with a medical crisis. Grants from the fund support Riley Children’s Hospital and provide financial assistance for Kosciusko County families served by Riley.
Since 1968, Kosciusko County Community Foundation Inc. has brought caring people and charitable endeavors together for the good of the community.
