WARSAW – The Warsaw girls track program continued its stranglehold on the Northern Lakes Conference Tuesday night.
The Tigers overcame tough conditions and a pair of league foes to remain undefeated on the season.
Warsaw stormed to wins over Plymouth 82.5-49.5 and Elkhart Memorial 87-45 in NLC action at the Tigers Athletic Complex.
The Tigers, coming off a championship performance Saturday in the Turtle Town Invitational at Churubusco, have now won 36 NLC meets in a row dating back to the 2009 season.

Warsaw also got another pair of winning efforts in the field events from standouts Claire Hickerson and Brooklyn Harrison. Hickerson won the pole vault by clearing 10-0 and Harrison took first in the shot put with a throw of 34-1.
The Tigers showcased their depth again Tuesday. Second place finishes went to Harter in the 100, Anna Craig in the 1,600, Ferguson in the 300 hurdles and Emily Bailey in the shot put. The team of Miller, Craig, Rhodes and Dawson also took second in the 4 X 400 relay event.
Warsaw also got third place finishes from Alexander in the 100, Rhodes in the 400, Dawson in the 800, Harvuot in the 200, Shannon Winslow in the pole vault and Megan Chauncey in the discus.
The Tigers will compete Saturday in the Kokomo Relays, where they are the defending champions.
