Duane Wagner
Duane Wagner, 66, of Sidney, Ind., passed away at 9:41 a.m. Monday, April 14, 2014, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, Ind.
He was born on March 1, 1948 in Frankfort, Ind., to Roscoe and Nicy E. (Young) Wagner. He was united in marriage to Naoma Hall on Sept. 18, 1981, in Warsaw, Ind.
He graduated from North Manchester High School, class of 1966. Duane served in the U.S. Army from 1968- 1970. He then worked for Gatke Corporation from 1971–1992 and then worked for the City of Warsaw from 1992–1995. He also worked for Whitko High School from 1995–2012.
He is survived by his wife; four children: Jeff (Cindy) Wagner, Mentone, Ind.; Alan (Christel) Wagner, Plymouth, Ind.; Jacki (Garry) McCleary, Warsaw; Andrea (Kevin) Engle, Warsaw; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; pet: Peanut; one brother: Jack (Darlene) Wagner, North Manchester; and two sisters: Betty Williams, Lake Station, Ind.; and Pat (Lamoine) Thomas, North Manchester.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister: Diane Hoover.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 17, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 18, at the funeral chapel, with Pastor Glenn Hall officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Claypool, Ind.
