Valley Middle School Athletes Honored
AKRON – Tippecanoe Valley Middle School saluted its winter athletes at a recent awards program.
Honored from the wrestling team were Seth Hoffman (MVP), Grant Small (Most Improved) and Brent Reeser (Mental Attitude).
Members of the 8th grade cheerleading squad honored were Hannah Ames (MVP), Amy Ortiz (Mental Attitude) and Angelica Mendoza (Most Spirited).
Saluted from the 7th grade cheerleading group were April Slone (MVP, Most Spirited) and Lorena Santiago (Mental Attitude).
Sixth grade cheerleaders honors included Maya McCord (MVP), Mariah Miller (Mental Attitiude), Katelyn Reutebach (Most Spirited) and Hailey Garcia (Coaches Award).
Members of the 8th grade girls basketball team honored were Ashley Dunnuck (MVP), Olivia Trippiedi (MVP), Addy Miller (Best Offense) and Asia O’Connor (Best Defense).
Award winners from the 7th grade girls basketball were Sophie Bussard (MVP A team), Rachael Randall (MVP B team), Hannah Jansma (Mental Attitude), Gabby Olson (Mental Attitude) and Sarah Tucker (Best Defense).
Honored from the 6th grade girls basketball A team were Emma Craig (MVP), Aleaha Cole (Most Improved) and Ally Betten (Mental Attitude).
The duo of Makenzie Woodcox (MVP) and Tracy Smith (Miss Hustle) received awards for the 6th grade girls basketball B team.
