Warsaw Residents Elected To Beaman Home Board
Beaman Home Executive Director Tracie Hodson announced Warsaw residents Debbie Yingling and Elizabeth Mobarak have been elected to serve on the Beaman Home Board of Directors. The two recently completed the board orientation program and attended their first Board meeting in March.
Yingling is chief financial officer at Paragon Medical in Pierceton. She and her husband, John, have a son and daughter. She also serves on the Orthoworx Strategic Advisory Board, Parkview HPS Board and participates on the Finance Committee and as an Elder at Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church. Her leadership, analytical, administrative, planning and finance experience will be valuable to the organization.
Mobarak, human resources director with Biomet International, has been active with Junior Achievement of Northern Indiana and has been involved with United Way, Day of Caring, One Dog at a Time, Rudy’s Dog Park, and Habitat for Humanity events and fundraising. She brings employment law, event planning and fundraising experience to the Board along with her strong business and administrative skills.
“The experiences these women bring are valuable to the Beaman Home especially at this time, and will blend very well the talent of our current Board members. We’re very excited to welcome them as our newest Board members,” explained Hodson.
The Beaman Home has served domestic violence victims in our area for nearly 30 years. They are raising funds to build a new Emergency Shelter and Outreach Center on North Parker Street in Warsaw. It will replace an existing Shelter that they have simply outgrown.
Those interested in making a gift or organizing a fundraising event or activity to help with the construction of the new facility should contact Hodson by calling 574-372-3503 or by emailing [email protected].
