SYRACUSE – The Wawasee Community Youth League has extended its deadline for registration to March 30. On the same day, the WCYL will hold another assessment for boys minor baseball, boys major baseball, girls minor softball and girls major softball.

There are also assessments scheduled from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. March 22-23, with all three assessments at Wawasee High School’s annex gym.

Locally, tee-ball, machine pitch and boys minors will continue to be held in each town. Girls minor and major softball as well as boys major baseball will become a combined program with a general draft.
Sign-ups will continue in the usual manner, with forms available at all the schools and letters sent to parents with information. Sign-ups for 13-14 year old programs are available in the middle school offices.
