Pierceton Man Arrested On Drug Charges
A Pierceton man was arrested Friday, March 7, for allegedly selling prescription drugs to undercover Kosciusko County Drug Task Force officers.
William Paul Clutter, 34, Pierceton, was arrested and preliminarily charged with dealing a Schedule I controlled substance at approximately 5 p.m. Friday, Kosciusko County D.T.F. Officers stated that undercover units had made previous purchases of prescription medication from Clutter. Clutter is currently being held on a $10,000 bond in the Kosciusko County Jail.
Kosciusko County Sheriff Rocky Goshert stated that concerned citizens in the community were instrumental in this arrest. He advised that the public is encouraged to call the Kosciusko County TIP line at 574-372-2494, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to leave their anonymous information for any drug or criminal activity in Kosciusko County.
The Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office advises that the defendant’s charge is merely an accusation and that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
