Huge Children’s Resale March 23
Pushing over the wall limits within Wakarusa Missionary Church, more than 300 families have consolidated their children’s clothing/shoes/jackets, nursery décor, toys, bedding, books, videos, games and so much more for the largest high quality children’s resale in the area.
Families are invited to come from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 23, to find bargains all under one roof.
With 12 previous sales, the resale continues to be a huge family support that will take families through spring and summer. The resale draws local families shopping for like-new, gently used high quality items for children of all ages. In addition to baby and older children’s necessities, the resale also offers a number of items for expectant mothers. Many local sellers use the 85 percent they receive to supplement their tight budgets.
Thousands of hours will be donated by mothers, fathers, grandparents, teachers and so many others to organize and prepare the resale items for this anticipated sale. In addition to the volunteers, local businesses are excited to join with the resale partnership program providing needed funds for families.
“We are so excited to see so many local community members investing in the lives of hurting families in effort to reach out and do what they can,” remarked resale coordinator, Sarah Freitas. “If we all do a little bit, it adds up to being able to help families that might not have been able to provide needed items for their families.”
Wakarusa Missionary Church is located at 202 W. Waterford St., in Wakarusa.
