Annual Northern Sing-Fest Set
Dutchtown Brethren Church will host the 13th annual Northern Sing-Fest at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 16. The Northmen and Cathy from Fort Wayne and The Southern-Aires Quartet will share the gospel in song during the afternoon concert.
The Southern-Aires were organized in 1955 at a time when a “new” music was beginning to sweep the country. The music was to become known as Southern Gospel. As its popularity spread, so did the popularity of Southern-Aires. They have recorded more than 40 albums with two new releases scheduled.
There is no admission charge, but a freewill offering will be accepted. The church is located at the intersection of county roads 300 North and 400 East.
