Ivy Tech Hosts March For Babies
On March 7, Ivy Tech Community College, located at 3755 Lake City Highway Warsaw, will welcome families and business leaders will join together to kick off the 2014 March for Babies campaign — the March of Dimes fundraiser to help all babies to be born healthy and to help those who need help to survive and thrive.
The kick-off begins at 6 p.m. and team captains will receive their team packets and then socialize and share success stories while they pick up their walk supplies during the open house until 8 p.m.
Funds raised by March for Babies in Northeast Indiana help support prenatal wellness programs, research grants, neonatal intensive care unit family support programs and advocacy efforts for stronger, healthier babies.
The Kosciusko-Whitley County March for Babies walk is May 4 at Winona Lake Park. For more walk dates, go to www.marchforbabies.org. Participation in March for Babies will provide a memorable and rewarding day for corporate teams and the whole family. To join in, visit marchforbabies.org, or call 260-482-4201.
The March for Babies is sponsored locally by Paragon Medical, Warsaw Women’s Center, 1st Source Bank, Griffith’s Wawasee Marina and Penguin Point.
