Winter Continues … Cold And Snow Coming
Yet again, forecasters are putting a Wind Chill Advisory into effect as temperatures linger well below freezing.
Lake effect snow showers will be diminishing this evening, but gusty north winds by late this afternoon will result in wind chill factors of 10 below to 20 degrees below zero. Look for snow accumulations of generally a half-inch or less.
Wind gusts up to 20 mph this afternoon and evening will cause blowing and drifting snow across open areas resulting in some reduced visibility.
The Wind Chill Advisory will be in effect from 4 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday for Kosciusko and surrounding counties.
Also, weather sources are calling for yet another winter storm this weekend. Forecasters are calling from anywhere from an inch up to 10 inches of snow starting Saturday night and continuing through Sunday night. Snow, freezing rain and sleet are projected to be part of the event.
