Melba Conrad
Melba Conrad, 90, of Cromwell, Ind., passed away Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014, in her home.
She was born Feb., 10, 1924, in Huntington County, Ind., to William and Lenora (Miller) Henry.
She was a Knapp Lake resident since 1956. She retired from Johnson Controls after 28 years and was a former member of the Markle United Methdist Church.
She is survived by her two sons: Keith Farber, Kelleen, Texas; and Robert (Patricia) Farber, Syracuse, Ind.; three stepsons: Dennis Conrad, Noble County, Ind.; William Conrad, South Bend, Ind.; Harley Conrad, Syracuse; one stepdaughter: Norma Jean Hamood, Colorado; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter, three sisters, two brothers, one half-brother and two half-sisters.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, March 3, at Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse. A private family graveside service will be Tuesday, Feb. 4, at the Violett Cemetery in Goshen, Ind.
