Mark Allen Hochstetler, 27, of Lafayette, Ind., formerly of Nappanee, Ind., passed away at 4 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, at his residence.
He was born April 22, 1986, in Mishawaka, Ind., to Larry and Sharon (Yoder) Hochstetler.
Mark was a 2004 graduate of NorthWood High School and received his engineering degree from Purdue University in 2009. He was an engineer for Lafayette Instruments. Mark grew up in the Zion Chapel Church in Goshen and later attended New Creation Fellowship in Elkhart. He enjoyed music, playing the drums and base guitar. He was also an avid runner and enjoyed running in mini marathons.
He is survived by his father; mother; sisters: Cheryl (Adam) Smith, Colorado Springs, Colo.; Julie Hochstetler, Nappanee; niece: Evie Smith; grandmother: Mary Hochstetler, Nappanee; and Herman and Fern Yoder, Nappanee.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 26, at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee and from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 27, at Nappanee Missionary Church. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am, Thursday, Feb. 27, at Nappanee Missionary Church. Burial will be in South Union Cemetery.
