Grace Pair Honored By League
WINONA LAKE – Following the finest Crossroads League season in Grace College women’s basketball program history, the Lady Lancers were given mention on the League’s First Team in Juaneice Jackson and Second Team in Allison Kauffman.
“I’m very proud of the entire team this year. They staying together and stayed strong after a slow start and accomplished a lot as a team,” said Grace head coach Scott Blum. “JJ [Jackson] had another solid year and was recognized as a top player in our conference. She fought through ups and downs of the season and stayed focused on winning as a team. Allie [Kauffman] led the conference in double-doubles and was top five in a lot of other categories. Her leadership and talent she beings to the team makes this award well-deserved.”
