Historic Preservation Lecture At Honeywell
WABASH – Todd Zeiger, director of Indiana Landmarks Northern Regional Office will present “Historic Preservation: an Evolving Movement” at the Honeywell House at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 4, at the Honeywell House.
Historic preservation as a movement continues to evolve, expanding from the largely curatorial function it served in its early years into a major force in the revitalization of America’s cities, towns, and neighborhoods. Zeiger will present a program featuring examples, both national and statewide, and will explain how Indiana’s preservation program has developed into a national model.
This Honeywell House event is free of charge and open to the public. Call 260-563-2326 ext. 21 for reservations. Individual sponsors for this presentation are Parker and Katie Beauchamp and the corporate sponsor is Wabash Marketplace Inc.
The Honeywell House is the former home of Mrs. Mark C. Honeywell and is now operated as a cultural house museum in Wabash. The house is owned and operated by the Honeywell Foundation, a non-profit organization that also operates the Honeywell Center and Eagles Theatre.
