Local Improv Group Hosts Free Show
Tired of winter? You aren’t the only one! Come see Main on Main Improv Troupe performing live comedy improv to drive the winter blues away.
Main on Main will be performing a free show at the Syracuse-Wawasee Chamber of Commerce office at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25.
The group has been performing together since 2012, creating improvised comedy scenes for live audiences. On Feb. 25, the group will provide a free hour of entertainment based on audience suggestions.
Comedy improv is a theater art form used on shows such as Saturday Night Live and Whose Line Is It Anyway? Improv involves creating scenes based on audience suggestions, with the actors “making it up” as they go. Audiences (and the actors) never know what they’re going to get into!
The troupe includes the following local members: Seth Anderson, Ian Crighton, Derick Gamble, Maddi Hart, Todd Lucas, Taylor White and Dustin Wolfe. The show is free and doors will open a few minutes before showtime. The Syracuse-Wawasee Chamber of Commerce is located at 110 1/2 East Main Street, uptown Syracuse.
