Comedian Wanda Sykes At Four Winds
Wanda Sykes has been called “one of the funniest stand-up comics” by her peers and ranks among Entertainment Weekly’s 25 Funniest People in America.
Wanda Sykes’ two HBO comedy specials in 2006 and 2009 were nominated for three Primetime Emmy Awards. Wanda has also appeared in several TV shows including “Curb Your Enthusiasm” and “The Wanda Sykes Show.” In January, she returned to the OWN Network with her stand up special “Herlarious,” which highlights female comics.
Wanda has also appeared in several feature films including “Evan Almighty,” “Monster-in-Law,” and “My Super Ex-Girlfriend.” She has also voiced characters in several animated features including “Ice Age: Continental Drift” and “Rio.” In 2010 she won a GLAAD award for promoting a good image of equal rights for gays and lesbians.
