Yoshiko West
Yoshiko West, 72, Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 11:05 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw.
She was born Nov. 1, 1941, in Nagasaki Ken, Japan to Kichitaro and Tumi Kameyama. On May 7, 1971, in the American Embassy in the city of Tokyo, Japan, she married Danny W. West.
She was a homemaker and and a wonderful cook and would stay in her kitchen all day. She and her husband, Danny, moved to Warsaw from Aiea, Hawaii, in May 1992. She loved her dogs “Patches,” “Nickie” and “Leon.”
She is survived by her husband: Danny W. West, Warsaw; one brother: Tadashi Kameyama, Japan; one sister: Hiroko Mori, Japan; one brother-in-law: Terry R. (Edith) West, Warsaw; two sisters-in-law: Sonda Coble, South Whitley, Ind.; and Nancy (Herb) Coble, North Manchester, Ind.
There will be no services or calling. Burial will be at a later date in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.
