Officers of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department recently investigated the following accidents:
Wednesday, Jan. 29, 10:59 p.m. North SR 19 and West 250 North, Etna Green. Driver: Andrea L. Bottomley, 18, Caldwell Lake Drive, Claypool. Driver struck a deer. Damages: up to $2,500
Warsaw Police
Officers of the Warsaw Police Department recently investigated the following accidents:
Thursday, Jan. 30, 11:35 a.m. West Market Street. Driver: Juan P. Sanchez Brito, 18, Dot Street, Warsaw. Brito was westbound on Market Street and said an oncoming vehicle swerved into his lane. He swerved to avoid a collision and accelerated, causing him to lose control of his vehicle and crash into a utility pole. Damages: up to $10,000
Wednesday, Jan. 29, 4:43 p.m. East Clark and North Bronson streets. Drivers: Jaclyn D. Jones, 30, Brookview Drive, Warsaw; and Rachel L. Crace, 21, Old Road 30, Warsaw. Jones was unable to stop on the snow covered road and ran a stop sign, colliding with Crace’s vehicle. An infant in the Jones vehicle was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital as a precaution. Damages: up to $5,000
Wednesday, Jan. 29, 1:48 p.m. 302 W. Market St. Driver: Garlie H. Webb, 64, South Market Street, Burket. Webb was unable to stop on the snow covered pavement and slid into a parked vehicle in the Owen’s parking lot. Damages: up to $2,500
