The Elkhart County Commissioners announced the emergency declaration issued today for Elkhart County has been extended through Tuesday, Jan. 28. The declaration will be lifted at 10 a.m. and downgraded to a watch travel advisory. Elkhart County offices will reopen at noon Tuesday.
Elkhart County Highway crews will be working overnight and into the early morning hours to continue clearing roads and subdivisions.
