Young Entrepreneurs Showcased At Kids Business Fair
North Webster/Tippecanoe Township Area Chamber of Commerce is inviting members and their customers and clients to the 2014 Kosciusko County Kids Business Fair.
This unique event is being held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, in the North Webster Community Center. Kids from across the county will be showcasing a wide variety of businesses. Attendance will be greatly appreciated by the young
entrepreneurs in grades K-8 who have been preparing for this event since
October.
If you’ve never been to an event like this, check out the online video which is an example of a similar program.
As is so important for all local businesses, the chamber has suggested to the
kids that they support a local charity in some way at their booth for this event. This could be done by donating a percentage of their proceeds or by simply placing a collection can for their chosen charity. Some of the kids have already identified their charity.
The more shoppers who attend the Kids Business Fair, the more successful the kids
will be. Business owners and representatives from around the county will also be
judging the kid’s booths for: Highest Business Potential, Best Presentation and Most Original Idea.
The North Webster Community Center is proud to introduce the event to Kosciusko County and to serve as the host.
Admission is just $1 per person.
