Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department
Officers of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department recently investigated the following accidents:
Thursday, Jan. 23, 9:12 p.m. North State Road 15, Leesburg. Driver: Justin W. Ross, 30, Shady Lane, Warsaw. Ross was traveling northbound on SR 15 when he hit a spot of ice in the roadway and lost control causing him to leave the roadway and overturn his vehicle in a ditch. Ross reported no injuries. Damages: up to $5,000
Thursday, Jan. 23, 7:59 a.m. West 200 South and South Ferguson Road, Warsaw. Drivers: Sasikala Vemulapalli, 62, South Meadow Drive, Warsaw; and Robert S. Blair, 30, North 175 East, Warsaw. Vemulapalli was stopped at the County Road 200 and Ferguson Road intersection when she turned east onto 200 South into Blair’s path of travel. Damages: up to $10,000
Wednesday, Jan. 22, 1:32 p.m. South Zimmer Road and West Winona Avenue, Warsaw. Drivers: Lena Green, 35, Captains Court, Rochester; and Patrick A. Lefeber, 49, East 2nd Street, Converse. Leeber was westbound on Winona Avenue when she failed to stop at the Zimmer Road stop sign and struck into Lefeber’s vehicle. Both Lefeber and Green complained of abdominal pain and were checked out by medics at the scene. Damages: up to $25,000
Wednesday, Jan. 22, 11:34 a.m. Lake City Highway and Anchorage Road, Warsaw. Drivers: Jacklynn E. Andrews, 19, County Road 146, New Paris; and Stacey L. Jones, 43, Old Ditch Road, Warsaw. Andrews admitted to driving through the red light at Anchorage road and struck into the rear of Jones’s vehicle. Damages: up to $10,000

Officers of the Warsaw Police Department recently investigated the following accidents:
Wednesday, Jan. 22, 7:10 a.m. Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Drivers: Emily J. Hickerson, 22, South Hunters Ridge, Warsaw; and Michael R. Zachary, 26, North 300 East, Warsaw. Hickerson, who was traveling northbound, was attempting to make a left turn at the Lake City Highway and 250 East intersection when she struck Zachary who was traveling southbound. Damages: up to $5,000
