Dixie Awarded Free Google Ad Credits
Dixie Sternwheeler Receives Google Credit
The grant is an in-kind AdWords allowance that will be renewed for the full amount every year for the life of the organization and can be used at a rate of $329 per day. The Dixie will be able to advertise on Google to promote ridership, renovations and maintenance of the historical 1929 Dixie paddlewheel tour boat on Webster Lake in North Webster through text ads on Google.com.
Chamber Community Newsletter
Visitors to the Dixie’s website will soon be invited to subscribe to a new community newsletter being spearheaded by the North Webster-Tippecanoe Township Chamber of Commerce. The newsletter will disseminate information about the Dixie and other area non-profits, businesses and events.
Google AdWords, to be funded by this grant, are the advertisements that appear alongside searches on Google.com. The ads enabled by this Google grant will direct people to RideTheDixie.com.
Local Firm
Local company Updentity assisted the Dixie with the writing of its Google grant application, installed the necessary technology to www.RideTheDixie.com for it to make use of the ads, and will manage the ongoing maintenance of the Google ads and technology to maximize the usefulness of the grant.
Google grants are only available to 501(c)(3) non-profits and are subject to availability at Google’s discretion. Consequently, Updentity offers a guarantee to non-profits it assists with Google grant applications.
Organizations will win the credits or get their money back.
