William C. ‘Bill’ Ring
William C. ‘Bill’ Ring, 55, Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 2:22 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2013, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, Ind.
He was born Dec. 9, 1958, at Kalamazoo, Mich., to William Jack and Betty (Holmes) Ring. On Nov. 28, 1982, he married Angela R. Shearrer. She survives.
Bill was a millwright and electrician. He worked for 10 years at Gulf Steam in Nappanee, Ind.; 10 years in maintenance at Parkview-Whitley Hospital, Columbia City, Ind.; Ownes-Corning at Nappanee and currently worked at NIBSCO at Goshen, Ind. He was a 1977 graduate of Wabash High School.
He is survived by his wife; two children: Aaron W. Ring, Warsaw; Linsey N. Ring, Pierceton, Ind.; three grandchildren: Gage W. Ring, Warsaw; Riley S. Parker and Bailey R. Parker, both of Pierceton; his mother; four sisters: Margie (Steve) White and Jenny (Jim) Thomas, both of Wabash, Ind.; Becky Nisbet, Warsaw; Mary Ring, Logansport, Ind.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and one sister: Jackie Martin.
Visitation will take place from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 3, and from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 4 at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, and will be officiated by Pastor Ed French.
