KCCF Scholarship Applications Available Online Friday
The Kosciusko County Community Foundation will make its online scholarship application available beginning Friday, Dec. 20. The Community Foundation holds more than 90 scholarship funds from which they awarded over $390,000 last year to area students. Scholarships are available for certificate programs, trade schools and colleges.
Two important changes to the scholarship application process were made this year. All scholarship information is now online, therefore, the scholarship directory CDs and binders are no longer being produced. Kosciusko County Community Foundation scholarship information is available here and information about other scholarship opportunities is available here.
The second change is that the traditional and non-traditional scholarship cycles have been combined. Now, traditional students (those attending college immediately after high school) and non-traditional students (attending college after a break between high school and college), have the same application deadline of 5 p.m. April 1.
The Community Foundation will be hosting scholarship information sessions from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Jan. 16 and from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Jan. 21, at their office located at 102 E. Market St., in downtown Warsaw.
Since 1968, Kosciusko County Community Foundation, Inc. has brought caring people and charitable endeavors together for the good of the community. The Community Foundation is a public charity, and gifts made to the Foundation are tax-deductible.
