Rolling Stones Tribute Band In Elkhart
ELKHART – Coming to the historic Lerner Theatre on Friday, Jan. 17: The electrifying sounds of Jagger, Richards, Taylor, Watts and Wyman – The Rolling Stones – personified in one of the world’s most acclaimed tribute bands. Satisfaction is the international touring tribute show dedicated to the “World’s Greatest Rock and Roll Band.”
This glamorous show has been in production and touring since 2001 with over 1,600 performance dates to its credit. It is the only full time touring show of its kind in the world. Satisfaction showcases the most authentic cast and costuming that live audiences have ever witnessed, and the most authentic sound that breathes new life into 50 years of classic Stones hits. Satisfaction has been featured in dozens of national newspapers, magazines and television reviews as the greatest show ever honoring the Rolling Stones and their legacy.
In 2005, the group became the world’s first Rolling Stones show on the Las Vegas strip, debuting as part of the award winning show “Legends in Concert” and receiving outstanding reviews. The Las Vegas Sun said, “They shined just like the real Stones on the strip.” Showbiz Magazine gushed, “They’ll have you in the aisles just like Jumping Jack Flash.”
In 2006, the show became a major touring draw at popular performing arts centers and theatres with sold-out performances. In the fall of 2007, CBS News New York featured Satisfaction on a special program about the rise of tribute shows. CBS News advised viewers, “Go get Satisfaction.”
Paramount Pictures and the IMAX Corporation contacted the group in 2008 to assist in promotion of the Martin Scorsese-produced documentary film “Shine a Light.” The film highlights a Rolling Stones performance in New York City along with vintage clips from previous concerts. And in 2010, the show received its greatest honor of all: The Rolling Stones themselves approved long term performance engagements by Satisfaction with the Walt Disney Corporation.
If you’re a Stones fanatic, Satisfaction is just what you need. So don’t be “Shattered.” Don’t be “Waiting on a Friend.” Find an “Emotional Rescue” to the winter blues by buying your tickets now. “Wild Horses” couldn’t drag me away!
