Innovation And Entrepreneur Hall Of Fame 2013 Inductees Announced
It appears that the 3rd annual induction into the Kosciusko Innovation and Entrepreneur Hall of Fame this Wednesday, Dec. 11, will have a record turn-out. Only a hand-full of tickets remain.
- This year’s inductees into the Hall of Fame are: John Byrd and John Hand of Othy/Symmetry for the orthopedic industry
- Tom, John and Jack Anglin of the Clunette Elevator and Don Strauss of Midwest Poultry for the agricultural industry
- Ron Baumgartner of The Papers Inc. for the manufacturing industry
- Michael Kubacki and Doug Grant of Lake City Bank, and Wallace, Connie, Richard and James Miller of Miller Health Systems for the retail/service sector
In the past two years, the Kosciusko Economic Development Corporation has honored Revra Depuy of Depuy, Justin Zimmer of Zimmer, Dane Miller of Biomet, Tobias Buck of Paragon Medical and Miles Igo of Medtronic, all part of Kosciusko County’s Orthopedic Capital of the World.
Also added in the agriculture and ag-manufacturing sector in prior years was Hobart and Russell Creighton of Creighton Brothers, Donald Wetzel of Maple Leaf Farms, Howard Brembeck of CTB Inc. and Kip Tom of Tom Farms.
Manufacturing sector inductees have been Adele De Berri of Da-Lite Screens and Jan and John Rinker of Rinker Boats.
In the retail/service sector, Wallace Stouder of Penguin Point was inducted.
