UPDATE: Sidney Teen Located
(UPDATE: Madison Maggart has been located. She was located in the vicinity of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department at about 4 p.m. Monday and is safe. Police say it is possible that the 19-year-old she was believed to have been with could be charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.)
A 16-year-old Sidney girl is still missing and her mother says she may be in the company of a man with a criminal record.
Madison Maggart was last seen leaving her work at the Goodwill store in Warsaw at about 5 p.m. Friday. According to her mother, Heather Maggart, new information provided today indicates Madison was actually seen at least twice Friday night with Tyler Boocher, 19, of Leesburg.
Heather Maggart said her daughter was allegedly with Boocher at the home of his aunt. The pair were also reportedly seen at Owen’s grocery store in downtown Warsaw. Heather Maggart said they now believe her daughter has run away.
Boocher, the man the teen is suspected of being with, was convicted in August for a D felony charge of receiving stolen property and was sentenced to 6 months in jail. His latest arrest was on Dec. 2 for D felony theft.
Madison is approximately 5’5″ and 95 pounds. She has black hair and light blue eyes. She was last seen wearing dark colored skinny jeans, a long-sleeved black concert t shirt, black boots, and a red/black checkered flannel coat.
Madison does not have a car or driver’s license.
The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department has been actively searching for the teen and has also enlisted the help of all area police agencies to locate Maggart, who is believed to be a runaway.
