Downtown’s Hometown Holly Days Is Friday
First Friday in downtown Warsaw. It all happens on the First Friday of each month, and on this Friday, Dec. 6, the theme is Hometown Holly Days!
The 2nd annual Twinkle Light Parade begins at 7 p.m. down Center Street. Santa and Mrs. Claus will ride in the parade at 7 p.m. from downtown and will arrive to Central Park by 7:30 p.m. to visit with children. Children will also receive holiday glow necklaces, while supplies last. There will be carriage and sleigh rides all evening long. The cost to ride is canned or dry food for the local food pantries!
The Warsaw Parks and Recreation Department will also Light Up at the Night with the the first lighting of the Central Park Holiday Light Display. Walk through the festive lights and enjoy holiday performances in the park.
The morning optimists Santa House will be open from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. The Incloggnito Cloggers will perform on Center Stage from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
A display of trees will be in the city hall main lobby and Tri Kappa will host an ornament decorating craft for kids up to 12 years old in the city hall.
